OUR PROCESS

Our stills, Sarah and Maria, honor tradition and family legacy. Sarah, a 2,500L spirit still, is named after the wife of Woombye’s first pub licensee. Maria, a grand 6,000L wash still, nods to his mother and produces delicate low wines. Arriving from Bass Strait in 2019, Maria epitomises our sustainable vision to craft world-class spirits.

Our home and Distillery is nestled in the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland rainforest, just a short drive from Queensland’s iconic Big Pineapple. Here, we craft and share Sunshine & Sons Premium Spirits, pot-distilled with a curated mix of local and traditional botanicals. Located in a UNESCO Biosphere corridor, Queensland’s Sunshine Pantry highlights organic farms and local experiences, creating flavours that embody our Coast Spirit vision and earn 2024 Best of Queensland recognition.
