The Hall was opened on 15 November 1924 by Mr William Bertram, Speaker of The Legislative Assembly Queensland. During the 1950’s the Hall was referred to as the School of Arts, but this changed sometime during the 1960’s to the Buderim War Memorial Hall. In 1966, a brick frontage was added to the Hall. In 1989, the wooden portion of the building was removed from the brick facade, realigned to Church Street, and extensively renovated and restored. The Buderim War Memorial Hall continues to play a vital part in the community, as it is still the only public venue for theatre, concerts, and public functions.
Proceeds from the sale of every bottle will be returned to the Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA).
