Well, regardless of location we’ve collected a few of our favourite summer cocktails that are sure to turn a few heads and may even position you as this summer's go-to mixologist for the foreseeable future.

Something Refreshing

When the temperature is increasing, you sometimes want a beverage that is both cool and flavourful. Our Pacific Mule delivers both; it strikes a balance between lime and tropical flavours and just a touch of spice from ginger beer on top.

The Pacific Mule

Ingredients
  • 30ML Sunshine & Sons Original Vodka
  • 2 Wedges of Lime
  • Tropical Juice
  • Ginger Beer

Method

  1. Muddle a wedge of lime in a highball glass
  2. Add ice and 30ML of Sunshine & Sons Original Vodka
  3. Add 60ML of Tropical Juice and fill to the top with Ginger Beer
  4. Garnish with a wedge of lime

Ingredients
  • 30ML Sunshine & Sons Pineapple Parfait Gin
  • Tropical Juice
  • Grenadine

Method

  1. Pour 30ML of Sunshine & Sons Pineapple Parfait Gin over ice in a short glass
  2. Top up with Tropical Juice
  3. Add a few drops of grenadine to create the 'sunset'

Ingredients

  • 30ML Sunshine & Sons Original Vodka
  • Soda Water
  • Wedge of Lime

Method

  1. Pour 30ML of Sunshine & Sons Original Vodka over ice in a tumbler glass
  2. Top up with Soda Water
  3. Squeeze the juice of a wedge of lime into the glass and add the wedge to garnish

A real slice of local sunshine coast flavour, our Orignal Cane Spirit is made from freshly juiced Maroochy River sugar cane, wild fermented and double distilled —with just a little sweet cane juice added. Combining the zest of the muddled limes really lets the Near North take form into a refreshing beverage that’ll have you reaching for another straight after the first sip.

Ingredients

  • 30ML Sunshine & Sons Original Cane
  • 3 Segments of Lime
  • Lots of Ice

Method

  1. Muddle 3 segments of lime in a cocktail shaker glass
  2. Add 30ML of Sunshine & Sons Original Cane
  3. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake, shake, and keep shaking!
  4. Add all contents to a short glass (no straining!) and garnish with a wedge of lime
